LEGAL ART WORKS TERMS OF USE

The following Terms of Use apply to illustrations purchased and downloaded from this site. The Purchaser must agree to these terms to download the illustrations. These illustrations are protected by copyright and may only be used as specified in these Terms of Use.

1.. Grant. Legal Art Works hereby grants Purchaser a non-exclusive, non transferable, limited license to download, copy and display purchased illustrations in connection with personal and non-commercial use or scholarly, educational or scientific research or study, or for one legal matter only, which must be identified in the purchase process. The illustration download may not be assigned, transferred or re-used without prior permission and additional license payment may apply.

2.. Restrictions. Purchaser must maintain copyright and trademark notices on all copies of the illustrations. Proper credit for each illustration is required. Small format JPEG files may be printed up to 8.5 inches by 11 inches. No alteration or modification or variation of the image of any kind is authorized. No re-use or storage is permitted except as expressly authorized by Legal Art Works. One user per purchase, except that multiple users may view the illustration and copy for use in connection with the same legal case. Except as provided above, no other use, copying or distribution is authorized under these Terms of Use, including but not limited to use in another case, in a publication, computer application, website, presentation, electronic mail, newsletter, DVD, CD-ROM or video, in any medium.

3.. Ownership Rights. Purchaser acknowledges that Legal Art Works is the sole owner of all rights to the illustrations, including but not limited to copyrights and trademarks. Purchaser will not assert any ownership rights of any kind over the illustrations licensed from Legal Art Works pursuant to these Terms of Use. Legal Art Works owns all rights in any derivative works that may be produced by purchaser using the illustrations on this site.

4.. Warranty. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE REPRESENTATION THAT LEGAL ART WORKS IS THE OWNER OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS PERTAINING TO THE ILLUSTRATIONS, ALL WORKS DOWNLOADED FROM THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITH ALL FAULTS AND NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FREEDOM FROM DEFECTS, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, ACCURACY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

5.. Limited Liability. WITH THE EXCEPT OF INFRINGEMENT LIABILITY, LEGAL ARTWORKS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY, DIRECT AND INDIRECT, ARISING OUR OF USE OF THE ILLUSTRATIONS. ALL PURCHASES ARE COMPLETELY NON-REFUNDABLE. INFRINGEMENT LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO DIRECT DAMAGES SUFFERED BY PURCHASER IN CONNECTION WITH A CLAIM OF INFRINGEMENT.

6.. Indemnity. Purchaser hereby agrees to indemnify Legal Art Works and its officers, directors and employees, together with their successors and assigns from any claim, damage, loss, expense, liability, obligation, action or cause of action (including reasonable attorneys' fees) which Legal Art Works, sustains, pays or suffers, arising out of Purchaser's use of the illustrations. Legal Art Works will indemnify and hold harmless Purchaser for third party claims relating to intellectual property rights in the Legal Art Works products.
